Pornography statistics are at an all time high and continue to rise!
Whilst it is true that we live in a highly desensitised world when it comes to chastity and being chaste; one of the things we really need to do to manage the situation is to put into effect steps which block any leads to the action itself.
“Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.” ~ Bruce Lee
Analysis:
Be like water (flexible)- but ensure you only remain flexible enough to manage the achievement of the world you seek to create! And make sure your way (the container you fit yourself in) is one which is pleasing to Allah Almighty. Do not just be a follower of every norm and way- May you be blessed!
May Allah forgive our past and inspire our futures! Ameen.
Ibn ul-Qayyim رحمه الله تعالى mentioned a statement attributed to the Salaf in origin:
A Shaytaan met another Shaytaan and said to him: “Why am I seeing you so thin & skinny?”
So he replied: “I am with a man who upon eating always mentions the name of Allah so I am unable to eat with him. When he drinks he mentions the name of Allah so I am unable to drink with him. When he enters his home he mentions the name of Allah so I (am unable to enter and instead l) have to sleep outside the house”.
So the first Shaytaan said: “I am with a man who upon eating never mentions the name of Allah so I eat with him. When he drinks he never mentions the name of Allah, so I drink with him. When he enters his home he never mentions the name of Allah so I enter with him. When he has intercourse with his wife he never mentions the name of Allah so I have intercourse with her too alongside him”.

[Never mentions the name of Allah upon intercourse – i.e. does not say the prescribed du’a mentioned in Saheeh al-Bukhary & Saheeh Muslim: (In the name of Allah, O’ Allah, keep the devil away from us and keep the devil away from what you have blessed us with).

Its important to develop a positive paradigm for yourself. Some people thrive on being negative and seeing everything with a negative eye. Its important to be just in our speech and not delete the positives of anything from our memories.
Even in our Shariah- Inviting towards good comes before preventing against evil…Inviting has a positive emotional element, whilst forbidding has a negative emotional element…
Some people only concentrate on forbidding, and forget the principle which states: A stated command towards something implies the forbiddance of its opposite…
Our Shariah teaches us that sometimes we can package our approach in a positive light which in certain circumstances would entail spending more time on the positives in our assessments and being just in our discussion about negatives.
May Allah Almighty grant us the understanding…Ameen.

Imagine…
If you had your entire life broadcasted in a well-documented program on one of the most watched TV channels. Would you be able to watch it with your family & friends?
Now, reflect using the emotions created from the above scenario over your situation on the day when your entire life will be presented to Allah Almighty… Subhanallah.
Allah says in His book regarding Qiyaamah:
‘On that day your deeds will be presented (in full)- not even the smallest detail about them will be hidden’
May Allah forgive us and help us and grant us Jannah! Ameen.

If you don’t want to pay; don’t complain. Rather start an endowment & support good work, and ensure that you are never a spanner in the works of actual progress… Please take note of the context to this caption below 👇
“We want the duaat to revolutionise Islamic learning, use university type settings or conducive equivalents, have quality notes formatted to suite tertiary level education and translated in a style suitable to 21st century learning. However we still asking why Islamic institutions charge for delivering the services, even though they charge a symbolical amount in comparison to what we spend monthly on other trivial aspects whilst only looking to cover their costs in the hope of breaking even…
We ask Allah to bless us with a sense that is indeed common. Ameen”.
