Money is supposed to be kept in the sun so that you can be in the shade…

Ponder over the above statement…

Today, unfortunately, we see some people hold so tight onto their money that they would rather keep it in their pocket than buy the essentials required to boost the quality of their lives!

They would rather honour their money than honour themselves!

Money is a means to many things; one of them being a more convinient life.

Buy what you need, don’t be extravagant, and don’t keep your money in the shade at the expense of your life in the sun!

May Allah bless us all and our wealth. Ameen.

Lets Talk Bitcoin…

Bitcoin has the power to be a macroeconomics miracle or a microeconomics debacle. It is a double edged sword at the moment, and has no doubt disrupted, in some way, decades of one sided monetary policies, centralization and financial malpractices.

I pray we are inspired to work together in allowing crypto currency to live its potential. Being tunnel visioned with it and only viewing it as investable has led to damaging speculation and cycles of harmful booms and busts.

Patience is a virtue and being calculated with the roll out of our practices with bitcoin and it’s sisters; will further pixelate the image of the crypto currency future, and the extent of its potential in really making the world a better place…

My Dream…

I dream of children growing up to be great men and women, not worthless beings.

In one of the houses of Madinah, ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may Allaah be pleased with him, was sitting with a group of his companions. He asked them: “Make a wish”, one of them said, “I wish to have as much gold as would fill this whole house, so that I could spend it in Allah’s way”; then again ‘Umar asked: “Make a wish”, another man said, “I wished that this house was full of jewels and pearls so that I could spend it all in Allah’s way and charity for the sake of Allaah”; ‘Umar asked for the third time: “Make a wish”, his companions said: “We don’t know what to say, O leader of the believers”; Thereupon ‘Umar said, “I wish that this house was full of men like Abu ‘Ubaydah Ibn Al-Jarraah, Mu’aadh bin Jabal and Saalim who works for Abu Hudhayfah, in order to use them to spread the word of Allaah”.

May Allah bless our brothers in the Liverpool team with more goals and make the rest of the team a means for them scoring more. Ameen. May Allah guide Klopp to Islam. I feel he has the character and mindset to be an ambassador of Islam.

Assalamualaikum everyone. I share with you a narration of hope and motivation!

May Allah Almighty accept the Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam’s) dua for us and gather us with Him in Alfirdaus. Ameen!

A’ishah (radi Allahu anha) narrated “Once, when I saw the Prophet in a good mood, I said to him: “O Messenger of Allah! Supplicate to Allah for me!” So, he said: “O Allah! Forgive ‘A’ishah her past and future sins, what she has hidden, as well as what she has made apparent.” So, I began smiling, to the point that my head fell into the lap of the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alayhi wa salam) out of joy. The Messenger of Allah said to me: “Does my supplication make you happy?” I replied: “And how can your supplication not make me happy?” He then said: “By Allah, it is the supplication that I make for my Ummah in every prayer.”

(This narration was considered as authentic by Sh. AlAlbaani (may Allah shower His mercy. Upon him)

Methodology For Clarity

Islam came with a fiqh methodology that assists scholars in helping people leave the worship of their desires & focus them on the worship of one Allah.

Today we have people who market themselves as knowledgeable and use their platforms to ignorantly portray the shariah in a way that helps people follow their desires, and consequently weaken their resolve with regards to true worship.

Indeed the heart screams and the eyes tear, and Allah Almighty is enough for us.

The children huffaath killed as a result of the Kundooz air strike in Afghanistan are safe with Allah. Their parents inShaAllah will be crowned in the hereafter as a result of their children’s hifth and their patience.

As for the perpetrators of this attrocity; an aayah comes to mind:

“Do these people not realize that they will be raised up, on a mighty day,
a Day when everyone will stand before the Lord of the Worlds?”.

(surah alMutaffifeen, 4-6)

Do not become desensitised to atrocities. We have to feel the extent of this catastrophe.

Pray for the parents of the children and innocent around the world.

May Allah protect us all and grant ease and mercy to the oppressed.

Indeed Allah Almighty is enough for His slaves…
