Ibn al-Qayyim said regards to the description of the Paradise and the delights that it contains:
“And if you ask about its ground and its soil, then it is of musk and saffron.
And if you ask about its roof, then it is the Throne of the Most Merciful.
And if you ask about its rocks, then they are pearls and jewels.
Sheikh Sajid highlights the importance of having a vision and focus in our lives as believers. Through analogies and various life experiences, Sh.Sajid teaches us this valuable lesson that should be prevalent in our lives so that we save the two most important blessings and resources given to us by Allah Almighty – our time and our wealth.
Weak Ḥadīths Pertaining to Virtuous Deeds

In the later period of Islamic history, it has become prevalent among scholars to adopt a lenient attitude towards weak ḥadīths related to virtuous deeds, some of them attributing this approach to certain early authorities of ḥadīth. In order to arrive at an accurate conclusion regarding this issue, we must first examine the statements of the early imāms who allegedly adopted this approach and ascertain their original intent:

The Personal Relationship Between a Scholar and His Student
Imam Ahmad used to mention the virtues of his sheikh, Imam Ash Shafi’ee to his wife. He would mention to her the extensive and superb knowledge of Imam Ash Shafi’ee as well as his Taqwah (i.e. piety). Imam Ahmad invited Imam Ash Shafi’ee to come visit him at his home. When the time for dinner arrived, Imam Ash Shafi’ee ate until he was full and went to the guest room for some sleep.
