How to rely on Allah

June 23, 2019 by Sajid Umar Leave a Comment

Today, we’ve lost sight of common sense.

We place our trust in things and other people.

We feel that if we have contact with such and such a person or prominent figure; our work will be sorted, or problem solved. We end up relying on the “means” rather than the One behind the “means”.

Ponder over your life and think about how Allah Almighty, time and time again, has taught you how haqeer (worthless) the “means” are without Him.

He teaches us that we cannot do anything by ourselves, and that it is not in the creation’s power to do so by themselves.
Rather; its a case of laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billah! (There is no power nor might except for Allah alone).

Allah can take us out of our miseries. He will send us the help we crave, in the right way, and at the right time.

Don’t let the test of the evil eye or black magic cause you to do haram, or forsake alManaan (the Benevolent).

Don’t let the difficult status of your financial standing, your long lasting sickness, your family’s politics, the bad manners of others towards you, the hardness of the world and the deceptive nature of it’s offering; cause you to swerve off the truth or to lose hope!

Just do this please! – Always take the means and always completely rely on Allah with full Yaqeen (certainty), and make dua.

All of Allah’s plans have wisdoms and well decreed time-stamps attached to them.

I swear by Allah; Whatever our Allah does; He does good.

All you have now with you is a pixel. Carry on striving, and very soon you will have enough pixels to see the entire picture, and appreciate the statement of my oath above.

After all! We are here to build jannah, and building anything is never easy, and always difficult. Sleep and rest is for the grave of a true believer and beyond.

May Allah strengthen our faith, ease our affairs, assist us from unimaginable sources, and make our graves a resting place from the highest jannah! Ameen.

Your brother,
Sajid Umar.
