If its comfort that you are seeking, then rush to the recitation of His words. Let your heart be softened by the greatest most grand speech. Allow your eyes to be washed with tears; allow them to fall and clear your vision. Turn your overwhelming sadness into an overflowing softness. Only in His words will you find true healing, strength and the one thing you are most seeking… answers.

Understand that you are valued. Understand that you are significant. Understand that you are precious.
For you were never made for this world, you were made for JANNAH!
So believe in yourself, strive for the prize, and never lose sight of the ultimate success – returning home to Allah.

Life was never meant to be an easy ride. It was never meant to be a smooth sail. The journey in this dunya is expected to be rocky. The personal battles, the struggles, the hardships, the falls – are all part of the tests of this dunya. But know, O slave of Allah, that they too will pass. For light always follows darkness and ease always enter with hardship, followed by another ease, and anticipated rewards. For did you not hear the words of Allah? ‘Verily, *with* hardship is ease’? So keep pushing forward, keep walking even if you can’t see an open door, because Al-Fattah will provide for you from where you didn’t imagine in ways you never expected, through doors you thought were tightly locked.
Your key, is patience. Your ultimate weapon, is Du’aa. And your strength, is in Sujood. Your comfort, is in Qur’an, and your ease, is in His remembrance. For indeed in His remembrance do hearts find true rest and tranquility.

Have you ever pondered over Surah Maryam and the part where Maryam (Alayhas Salaam) wished she had passed away before she carried a baby! She actually said this not knowing that she was carrying an actual Prophet and Messenger!
Whatever you going through, try your best to smile and place your trust in Allah! Allah Almighty only does good! And you will indeed come to know as well…May Allah bless you all.
Allah consoled the heart of the Mother of Musa (as) in her most difficult moment, when all she could picture was the river and a drowning child. It was not till later that she discovered the hidden wisdom behind her most painful experience.
Allah will console your heart too. Amidst the chaos of life, through the rivers of sorrows, and even in the depth of darkness, reach out to Him and He will bind your heart with the sweetness of faith.

Don’t try to become perfect overnight. Rather, draft a plan in which you slowly rid yourself of bad habits. Make a list of the good habits you wish to implement and then work to beautify them. Remember, the mountain is made up of small pebbles, so take baby steps towards a bigger change.
Push on forward. Even when it seems impossible, and you can’t bear the thought of taking one more step. Hold on. Even when you know that it would be so much easier to just let go. Believe. Even when all odds are stacked against you and every door is closed.
For Allah knows what you’re going through, He transforms your minuscule efforts into meaningful successes, and He promises an unparalleled reward that no mind can ever possibly comprehend.

Has anyone pondered over the fact that Yusuf (AS) had 11 brothers that plotted against him, whilst Musa (AS) had only one brother who was his greatest support?!
When I contemplated this, I could not help but notice how it should all be about QUALITY and not always QUANTITY. It’s not about the size of your team or the quantity of people around you. It’s about quality,

Imagine how amazing it would be to speak to the Prophets and ask them about those cool moments in there life? Like how Musa (as) felt when his staff turned into a snake? Or even ask Yunus (as) how it felt being inside the belly of a whale?
Frequently remind yourself of Jannah and its rewards and let it motivate you to work harder in seeking the pleasure of Allah.
May Allah (swt) grant us Jannah, and the abodes of the prophets and martyrs, aameen.

Today, studying Islam has became easier due to the publication of great books. We live in a golden age where knowledge is widely available. We have a lot of information in our heads, yet, sadly it doesn’t touch out hearts….

Ramadhan is less than 70 days away from us. How are we preparing for it? Begin now. Set goals, start increasing in your worship, open the Qur’an, memorise it, revise it, recite it, write-up a schedule. For indeed Ramadhan is a month full of opportunities, so prepare to make the most out of it. Remember, failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
May Allah allow us to reach Ramadhan and grant us the ability to make the most of it, ameen!

Sometimes people will enter your life as a lesson and then they will leave. Don’t question why. Allah is the Most Wise and He is managing your affairs so perfectly in a way that will cause you greater good. Learn through the experience and let go of the past. Dwelling on the past too much is one of the many tricks of Shaytaan to deter you from the gift that is the present.

“Whenever sins increase, loneliness/gloom intensifies.” [Imam Ibn alQayyim Al-Jawziyyah RahimahuAllah
If you ever find that you are feeling gloomy, down or even lonely although you have been blessed with family and friends around you , then know that this is a reminder that you must make Istighfaar. When sins increase, so does feelings of gloominess and distress.

Some sincere advice from the heart…
Sisters, don’t give your precious self away to everybody and anybody. Remember, your heart and soul are a valuable and precious part of you. See your heart as a secret garden whose walls should be very high. Always ask Allah to grant you a spouse who will help you improve and better that garden, and not a spouse who will leave that garden destroyed and broken. Its so easy to get attached. So learn to give your heart to Allah and trust that He will place it in the hands of someone who is worth receiving it.
Brothers, treat all women with respect. Don’t try to steal a woman’s heart by tricking her or promising her that which you have no intention of doing. Don’t sneak your way into her life and into her precious garden. If you are interested in a particular sister, approach her Wali and do things the proper way. Remember, treat others with honour and respect. Be sincere and honest in your aim, and you will find the help and mercy of Allah surrounding you.
Both pieces of advice can be applied interchangeably to brothers and sisters alike…
May Allah bless you all with good in the here and hereafter.

Isn’t it beautiful that in order for you to be from amongst the Tawwaaboon (those who turn to Allah in forgiveness) and thus gain the love of Allah, you have to commit a sin and thereafter repent for it? There are moments in our life when we become enclosed between four walls, trapped in a circumstance we have no control over, anxiety seeps into our hearts because we do not know what to expect; we shake the handles of the door with hope that it will miraculously open…
And then it does.
By the permission of the one who open doors and grants light when darkness envelopes. The One who brings a smile to the faces of those who thought the door was sealed shut, and gives them more than they even imagined, from places they didn’t know even existed.
Al Fattah – The opener of doors, the One who makes possible that which you thought was impossible.

There is something special about the early mornings. That short time after Fajr, when the sun begins to rise from behind the clouds, and the birds begin to sing praises of their Lord. Its like you can *feel* the barakah in the air.
We’re living in a time, where moments and seconds are passing so quickly. I often used to wonder, how can one balance their time between family, studies, community work etc, when time is so restricted?
The answer? Utilise your mornings. You’ll feel as though extra hours have been wondrously added to your day. The Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “O Allah, bless my nation in their early mornings (i.e., what they do early in the morning).” He said: “When he sent out a raiding party or an army, he would send them at the beginning of the day.” He said: “Sakhr was a man engaged in trade, and he used to send his goods out at the beginning of the day, and his wealth grew and increased.” [Ibn Majah]

‘I’ll change when I get older’, ‘I’ll start praying after I’m married so we can grow together’, ‘I’ll go for Hajj after my kids are grown up’…
These are some of the statements people utter and actually believe in! Brothers and sisters, wake up!!
Who told you that you are guaranteed tomorrow? Who told you that you will live to such and such age? Who promised you a future where you get to choose when you want to begin worshipping Allah?
The blessing of Islam and Eeman is not one that should be taken for granted. Pay heed before it is too late. Pray before you are prayed upon. Change now before change is no longer possible.
May Allah protect us and grant us the understanding…

Allah only accepts that which is pure. Hence, he chose the Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) for he was the purest of the pure, and he taught that which is purest of the pure. The hereafter has the purest of pure place, which is Jannah. We are on a journey and our provisions should also be the purest of the pure. Hence, we must take these provisions from a pure place – the teachings of the Messenger of Allah (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam).
