Assalamualaikum everyone. Here is a beneficial message I received, may Allah bless us all and our Friday. Ameen.

*Sending Blessings on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on Jumu’a*
Among the most beloved of acts to Allah Ta’ala is sending blessings and peace on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
It is a means of forgiveness of sins, raising one’s status, abundant reward, closeness to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ in this life and the Hereafter, and his intercession on the Day of Judgment, among many other benefits.
There is more virtue for this blessed act on the day and night of Jumu’a (Friday).
Rasulullah ﷺ said:
*”Among the best of your days is Friday. Send blessings on me abundantly therein, for your blessings are presented to me”*
*(Sunan Abi Dawud)*
He ﷺ also said:
*”Send blessings on me abundantly on the day and night of Jumu’a. Whoever sends blessings on me once, Allah sends ten mercies on him” (Bahyaqi).*
Note: the night of Jumu’a is the night preceding Jumu’a, I.e., after Maghrib on Thursday.
When a person truly realises his blessings will be presented to the Prophet ﷺ, he will feel shy to send only a small number of blessings to him, owing to his great right over us.
The shortest invocation of blessings and peace we can send is:
صلى الله عليه وسلم
We waste so much time in futile conversations, but imagine how much reward we could earn if we spent this time in sending blessings upon the beloved of Allah, Rasulullah ﷺ instead!
May Allah Ta’ala grant us the ability to send abundant blessings on the Prophet ﷺ and bless us with all the rewards He has promised for this great act of worship.
Aameen.
