Assalaamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh everyone, from 40 000 feet in the air over Europe.
I thought I share a pearl from the overall values of the Shariah. As well as take this opportunity to do some Dawah in this unique circumstance.
Alhamdulillah for technology. 😊
This weekend I taught Surah Yusuf in Birmingham and we learnt together a few hundred lessons without exaggeration. Alhamdulillah.
For the many parents who attended, the one lesson that stood out to them was…
“We trust our children but we don’t trust shaitaan…”
I suppose given the Western context, parents attending, really felt positively provoked by this thought and lesson.
Dear parents; checking on your children’s friends and habits and activities is called parenting – especially given our knowledge of Shaitaan’s promise to work on dropping each and everyone of us into the hell fire.
Our children’s best line of defense against this promise, after Allah, is US as parents.
No one loves them and is more desperate for their success than their parents.
I sincerely believe, especially in this day and age, that monitoring our children is from our complete love for them.
Ponder over this message from the skies 😊
May Allah protect us all and our children from Shaitan and his whispers and his evil. Ameen.
Your brother
Sajid Umar
