Assalamualaikum everyone. I pray you are all well.
In my time travelling to different communities sharing messages of ignition for the ummah; I have come to realise that people fall into one of the following categories with regards to living a life of substance:
1. Those who have little or no movement and thus have no progress. They are uninspired & lack motivation.
2. Those who have a lot of movement, but that movement does not entail progress. They live lives of random activity, some of which is only a waste of time. I find that this category a more serious issue than the first, as this is a category of people who think that they are substantial due to their fatigue from constant movement.
3. Those who have controlled movement, and quantum progress, due to their movement being filled with focus due to the presence of a vision. No doubt this is a group with the ethos of Islam…
The reality is and will always be that a lot of movement does not equal progress…
Analyse your life critically & figure out authentically which of the above three groups you
qualify to be part of.
May Allah Almighty forgive our past & inspire our futures. Ameen.
Your brother,
Sajid Umar
