Summary
Discover the path to true peace and value in life through remembrance of Allah and a 5-point plan for spiritual growth rooted in Qur’an and Sunnah.
Some people live surrounded by abundance—wealth, possessions, and worldly opportunities—yet they find no peace of mind. Their hearts remain restless, their lives full of profit but lacking true value. They are consumed by the pursuit of quantity—more money, more status, more recognition—yet deprived of the quality that brings real contentment.
True value, my beloved brothers and sisters, lies not in material gain but in the remembrance of Allah. It is only in His remembrance that hearts find complete peace—peace that transcends both the struggles of this world and the uncertainties of the Hereafter.
As we move forward, I encourage you to live your lives upon a 5-point plan that will re-centre your heart, elevate your actions, and enrich your soul:
- Put Allah first. Make Him the purpose and intention behind everything you say and do. When your life revolves around Allah, every step becomes meaningful.
- Follow the Sunnah. Try to align your actions as closely as possible with the practice of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Avoid the temptation of “fatwa shopping.” Instead, aim for the diamond standard—the authentic, pure Sunnah—and let it be your lifelong goal.
- Keep a secret act of worship. Choose an act of devotion known only to you and Allah. This hidden deed will strengthen your sincerity and protect your heart from showing off.
- Adopt the right perspective. In matters of the Hereafter, look to those who worship Allah more than you, and strive to rise to their example. In matters of this world, look to those who have less than you, so that gratitude fills your heart and envy does not consume you.
- Never abandon your Salah. No matter the circumstance, safeguard your prayers. Strive to improve their quality each day. For Salah is your protection from sin, your refuge in times of trial, and truly the master key to Paradise.
My dear brothers and sisters, remember: the world may offer comfort, but only Allah offers peace. Live for Him, strive through His remembrance, and walk the path of His Messenger ﷺ.
I love you all for the sake of Allah.
